Miami Law has one of the oldest LL.M. programs in the U.S. Since 1952 we have offered Master of Laws programs for domestic and foreign lawyers that attract students from 30+ countries yearly.

With a variety of choices, you select the best LL.M. for your professional future and can take advantage of hands-on learning options like practicums, moot courts, and clinics.

General LL.M. Program

This degree, for foreign-trained lawyers, allows you to select courses to meet your professional goals. You can work individually with an academic advisor to design your own program of study.

LL.M. students are supported here. When you arrive, you not only get access to your LL.M. advisor, but also a variety of advisors, each specifically helping with career advising, professional support and personal satisfaction with law school.

In addition, with a 7:1 faculty/student ratio, Miami Law professors know your name and are engaged and approachable.

They mentor students and bring to them their depth of experience as dedicated educators, and the school has one of the largest faculties that teach or do scholarly research in international law of any American law school.
