Setting Up University Services

As an incoming new student to Miami Law, you will be expected to work with the appropriate department within the law school or the University to set up services such as ADA accommodations, obtain your Cane Card, sign up for student health insurance, activate your University email account, and purchase a parking pass, amongst other things.

The Office of Admissions will send an “A to Z at the U” email to incoming JD 1L students in June which will give new students detailed information about how to set up their services at Miami Law and important dates over the summer prior to matriculation.

The Office of Admissions will send a similar “A to Z at the U” document to incoming JD transfer and visiting studentscontaining onboarding information specific to their needs. This document will be sent to a transfer or visitor upon admission to the law school.

Should you have any questions about setting up services as a law student, please contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@law.miami.edu.
