Here, you can craft an education based on your interests. With classes and seminars in subjects as vast as mental health law to coastal law, we offer something for almost anyone’s passion.

Our superior teachers are internationally recognized scholars and experienced legal practitioners who are the backbone of our vibrant and stimulating learning environment.

While teaching you is their priority, they also serve as advisors to our 55+ student organizations and to our 5 law journals.

The expertise of our faculty is wide-ranging. As practicing lawyers, they have worked in nationally recognized law firms and public interest organizations, and actively engage in pro bono services. They have also served as high-ranking government officials, have written leading law textbooks, and have served as U.S. Supreme Court clerks.

Miami Law professors’ expertise is sought out and they contribute to law and policy discussions on major media outlets like NBC and CNN, author op-eds in The Wall Street Journal, and are regularly quoted in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, USA Today, Wired, the Boston Globe, and others.
