Foreign-trained LLM, SJD, and Exchange student orientation begins in person on Thursday, August 7. Please plan to arrive by 9:00 am for registration and breakfast.
U.S.-trained (domestic) LLM and SJD students may join the Orientation plenary events on Monday, August 11 and must attend the in-person Orientation for U.S.-trained (domestic) LLM and SJD students on Thursday, August 14. Please plan to arrive by 9:00 am on both days.
Arrival Information: If you have not purchased a parking permit and plan on driving your own car to campus for Orientation, please park in the Pavia Garage (5615 Pavia St, Coral Gables, Fl 33146) on campus and purchase a day parking pass. From the Pavia Garage, walk across Fate Bridge to the School of Law. You will be ticketed if you park without a permit or park in the incorrect zone for a permit you have purchased. For those arriving via public transportation, the Metrorail stop closest to campus is “University.” A campus map and information on parking can be found at Parking and Transportation. Orientation Dress Code: Business casual Law School classes begin Monday, August 18, 2025. If you have questions about Orientation, please contact your program office directly.
